What replaces CPQ Lookup Queries in Revenue Cloud?
SBQQ__LookupQuery__c and SBQQ__LookupData__c drive data-backed product and price rules in CPQ. Revenue Cloud's decision matrices cover the bounded key-value cases; arbitrary SOQL-backed lookups have no direct equivalent.
How it fails
A rule whose lookup returns nothing does not error — it just stops matching, so the discount or constraint it enforced disappears from quotes.
What to do instead
Model as a Decision Matrix where the lookup is a bounded key-value fetch; otherwise expect custom work.
