About
Who is behind this
CPQ Compass is built by Xosmic Inc., a software company registered in Ontario, Canada.
Why it exists
Salesforce is retiring CPQ in favour of Revenue Cloud, and every org running CPQ has to move. The configuration itself can be copied. What cannot is the reasoning: which price rules are load-bearing, which Apex quietly depends on an object that will not exist, which Flows will keep compiling while doing nothing.
That question is normally answered by three or four weeks of consultant time, and the answer arrives as a slide deck. This reads your org directly and answers it in minutes, with the evidence attached.
How it works, commercially
You pay for reports, or a subscription if you run migrations for clients. That is the whole business model. We do not sell consulting on the back of what a scan finds, so nothing in the scoring has a reason to make your org look worse than it is.
We are not a Salesforce partner and take no referral fees from implementation firms. Pricing is published rather than quoted.
What we will not do with your org
Access is read-only, through two OAuth scopes, with no package to install — and there is no code path in the product capable of writing to Salesforce. Raw metadata is discarded once the report is built. Your data stays in Canada.
The details are on what we read and subprocessors, including exactly which third parties are involved and where each one is.

Judge it by the output
The most useful thing we can say about ourselves is on the example report.
